We collect information you provide when registering — including your name, email address, mobile number, and username. If you sign in via Google or Facebook OAuth, we receive your public profile data (name, email, profile photo) from those providers. We do not collect financial data, payment card details, or banking information.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to operate and improve Market Foresight. Specifically: to authenticate your identity, personalise your watchlist and settings, send you notifications you explicitly enable, and respond to support queries. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers.

3. Data Storage & Security

Account data is stored locally on the server running Market Foresight. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard cryptographic algorithms and are never stored in plain text. OAuth tokens are not stored — we only retain the resulting user profile. We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

4. Market Data & Analytics

Stock prices, financial data, and news are sourced from Yahoo Finance and public APIs. This data is cached on our server to improve performance. We do not track your individual searches or stock views for advertising purposes.

5. Cookies & Sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels are used on Market Foresight. The session cookie expires when you sign out or close the browser.

6. Third-Party Services

If configured, we use: SerpAPI (news fetching — your search query is sent to SerpAPI servers), Google OAuth and Facebook OAuth (if you choose to sign in with social accounts — governed by their respective privacy policies). We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

7. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account exists. You may delete your account by contacting us. Watchlists, settings, and profile data are deleted permanently within 30 days of account deletion.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@market-foresight.com. Residents of India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023.

9. Children's Privacy

Market Foresight is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us immediately.

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be notified via the app. Continued use of Market Foresight after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Market Foresight ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Market Foresight provides stock screening, analysis, and educational tools for Indian equity markets (NSE & BSE). The Platform is for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, portfolio management, or financial planning services.

3. Not a SEBI-Registered Advisor

Market Foresight is not registered as an Investment Adviser under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013. Nothing on this Platform should be construed as a recommendation to buy, hold, or sell any security. All investment decisions are made solely at your own risk and discretion.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable Indian law to use Market Foresight. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our data at scale; (c) impersonate any person or entity; (d) transmit malicious code; (e) use automated bots to access the Platform; (f) circumvent any access restrictions.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and algorithms on Market Foresight are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Market data belongs to respective data providers.

8. Accuracy of Information

Financial data is sourced from Yahoo Finance and may be delayed by 15 minutes or more. We make no warranty regarding accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information. Always verify data on official exchange websites (nseindia.com, bseindia.com) before trading.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Market Foresight and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including any trading losses, data inaccuracies, or service interruptions.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Market Foresight and its team from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the Platform.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. These terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and other applicable Indian legislation.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notice.

1. Free Plan

The Market Foresight Starter (Free) plan has no charges. No refund or cancellation policy applies to the free tier. You may stop using it at any time.

2. Paid Subscriptions (Pro & Elite)

Paid plans (Market Foresight Investor and Market Foresight Trader) are billed monthly or annually via our payment gateway. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until cancelled.

3. Free Trial

All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. No credit card is charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed. If you do not cancel, billing begins automatically at the end of the trial.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.

5. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

• Within 7 days of first payment: Full refund if you have not extensively used the Pro/Elite features (at our reasonable discretion).
• Service unavailability: If Market Foresight is inaccessible for more than 72 consecutive hours due to our fault, a prorated refund for the affected period will be issued.
• Duplicate charge: Full refund for any accidental duplicate billing, processed within 5 business days.
• Technical error: If a payment was charged due to a technical error, a full refund will be issued promptly.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not provided for: (a) change of mind after 7 days; (b) failure to cancel before the renewal date; (c) partial use of a billing period after cancellation; (d) dissatisfaction with market data accuracy (which is dependent on third-party providers).

7. How to Request a Refund

Email info@market-foresight.com with subject "Refund Request — [your username]". Include your registered email, payment date, and reason for the request. We process refunds within 5–7 business days. Refunds are credited to the original payment method.

8. Payment Gateway

Payments are processed securely via our integrated payment gateway. Market Foresight does not store credit card or banking details. All payment data is handled in compliance with PCI-DSS standards by our payment provider.

9. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period. Continued subscription after the notice period constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

10. Disputes

For billing disputes, contact us at info@market-foresight.com before initiating a chargeback. We will work to resolve disputes promptly. Unresolved disputes are subject to Indian consumer protection laws.
